Through intuitive brain-based coaching, strategic thinking, and authentic communication, Jen brings a unique ability to think like a coach, a business, and a brand.
After spending 14 years as a leader in the advertising industry, Jen began coaching on her own in 2012 when she launched ostrich coaching + consulting focused on developing female leaders in advertising. In 2016, she co-created and launched the Shift Positive® Method, a revolutionary approach to feedback grounded in Positive Psychology + Allyship. She co-authored the book, Feedback Reimagined, to help organizations change the feedback experience for all generations in the workplace. Jen has experience working in both large and small organizations coaching up and coming Directors, VPs, and C-Suite Executives. Her prerequisite is a culture that supports doing the inner work in order to grow and thrive together.
In 2025 she launched her own podcast, The Work of You, because she believes the hardest person you’ll ever lead…is you. Jen was trained at the prestigious Hudson Institute in 2012 and today is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coach Federation (ICF) with over 2,000 coaching hours. Since 2017 she's been an active certified practitioner (levels 1 and 2) and huge believer in the Integrative9 Enneagram given the significant level of self-awareness and growth she's witnessed across hundreds of coaching clients. Additionally, she is a graduate of the School of Communications at the Pennsylvania State University with a BA in Advertising/PR and a Minor in Business. In her free time, she can be found eating her way through Austin and caring for her outrageously handsome senior Vizsla/Lab mix, Koko.
